Social Media > Traditional SEO

Personally, I have started to manage client’s instagram profiles. I really believe that instagram is one of the biggest tools for businesses right now. First things first, for any campaign to be as successful as it can be people need to be on the same page. I cannot guarantee my part, if basic best practices have not been followed.
So a lot of big instagram accounts all share this in common. They have a brand ambassador program, where they provide some sort of incentive for high profile instagram accounts to repost about their brand. Lets say you have a box product with your branding on it. You can simply send this box to a select high profile instagram account and have them post a picture as a product placement, and say something short about your company.
When I do a proposal for a client I explain that managing their social media is one of the most important things for a business; even more than traditional SEO,  but one should focus more on instagram by doing all of the thing I’m posting below:
                        Targetted likes
                        Targetted follows/unfollows
Posting clean high-resolution pictures (no pixilation)
                        Shoutouts from high traffic network
Loading images:
The best way to maximize the visibility of your images to your user base would be to upload an image and leave a gap of five hours more or less between them.
Targeted hashtags:
Targeted hashtagsshould have a lot of traffic. These tags should be used with all of your image order. Upload these tags as a comment, and not as your description; meaning you should upload the image first, and then add the tags as a comment. This will keep your profile looking clean, as the hashtags disappear into the comments once your comments exceed 4. Finally, you can use up to 30 hashtags per picture upload.
Image Description:
With your image uploads make sure that your comments are short, descriptive, and have a good call-to-action. Always see it from the customer standpoint. Assume that they will ask you, why should I visit your website? Why should I buy from you? What makes your product better than others? Make sure that your description strategically answers that.
The methods above consist of a super solid social media strategy! With a big instagram company account we can simply, at that point tell people to follow any other social media accounts like twitter or facebook with very little cost.
